No Refund Policy
Session fees and prepaid tips are non-refundable. Clients who cancel with 24+ hours notice should contact us directly to receive their session credit, valid while the business operates. If the therapist must cancel or reschedule due to illness or emergency, every effort will be made to reschedule at a mutually convenient time. If rescheduling is required due to the therapist’s illness or emergency and no mutually available time can be found, a full refund will be issued.​

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Clients must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. There is a link in your Confirmation and Reminder emails to easily do this. Rescheduling within 24 hours is considered a late cancellation and forfeits your session fee and any prepaid tips. Emergencies will be considered case-by-case.

No-Shows & Late Cancellations
Prepaid session fees are non-refundable for no-shows and late cancellations.  If you cannot attend your session due to illness or emergency, contact us directly at 201-895-2288

Fragrance Policy
Please refrain from wearing perfumes or colognes to your session. I and some clients are sensitive to synthetic fragrances found in many hair and cosmetic products. Minimizing artificial fragrances found in some hair products, soaps and deodorants helps me be at my best to serve you and ensures fresh linens for all. Essential oils are fine. Natural hygiene products are always recommended for your overall health and wellness.

Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, we will do our best to provide the full session length. However, minutes may be subtracted to accommodate the next scheduled client. Please call or text if you are running more than 10 minutes late.

Force Majeure Clause
In the rare case of natural disasters, national emergencies, or other unavoidable disruptions, sessions may need to be rescheduled. If rescheduling is not possible due to prolonged circumstances, reasonable refund options may be considered.

Session Transfers
If a client is unable to receive a paid-for session due to a medical condition, they may transfer the session to a friend or family member. Recipients of session transfer must agree to our Terms & Conditions.

Expiration
Session credits with a clearly indicated expiration date must be used within that time frame. Any sessions with expiration dates not used within this timeframe will be forfeited, with no refund or extension. Transferred sessions retain original expiration date where applicable. 

Privacy & Confidentiality
Your personal information will be kept private and confidential.

Scope of Practice
Massage therapy is a complementary wellness practice and does not replace formal medical treatment or diagnosis by a physician. Specific results are not guaranteed. Following a session, some clients may experience temporary fatigue, emotional release, or soreness. These responses are part of the body’s natural integration process and typically resolve within 24 to 48 hours, allowing the full benefits of the session to unfold.

Right to Refuse or Terminate Treatment 
Quadrupedal Bodywork reserves the right to refuse or end treatment at our discretion. If treatment is terminated after commencement due to any of the following, no refund will be given. Such instances include but are not limited to:
- Client has withheld or failed to provide relevant health information.
- Client has a contagious, contraindicated health condition.
- Client is under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
- Client is mentally incoherent, threatening, aggressive, violent, or poses a risk to the therapist.
- Client exhibits inappropriate actions, words, or behavior of a sexual nature.

Zero Tolerance Policy
Instances of sexual solicitation or sexual harassment will result in immediate termination of the session, block from further bookings, and reports will be filed with appropriate authorities to uphold the integrity of the bodywork profession.
